Gabe wasn't able to wean off the ECMO as much as we hoped last night. The staff got him down to 280 and he wasn't tolerating it very well. They had to bring him back up to 320. He was kept at 320 for a while. Today he's doing better, so the nurses are going to try weaning again: dropping by 10 every hour. I am so happy the second xray showed Gabriel was eligible for ECMO! We'll keep praying and fasting to speed his recovery along. Danielle and I noticed your last posting time. Try to get some sleep! Julie,Danielle, and Midwest ENT on Tuesday a.m.
We went to mass yesterday for Gabriel and said a rosary for him on the way to Tell City. Peg, we pray you are recovering from your c-section.We love you all and will continue to pray for healing.
